Afam Sprockets

Afam sprockets are made on computer-controlled equipment with teeth that are machined to exacting standards for maximum chain life and more efficient power transmission. Machining is carried out on a gear hobbing machine, which cuts the teeth and the outside diameter at the same time ensuring that the teeth are concentric to the sprocket center. While most OEMs demand a maximum runout of 0.5mm, all Afam sprockets have a maximum run-out of only 0.2mm, making them more than twice as accurate as the industry requirement.
Aluminum rear sprockets are made from heat-treated 7075-T6. After precision machining and flattening, they are anodized for durability and corrosion resistance. Afam only makes motorcycle sprockets and has built a worldwide reputation for the highest standards and best materials.
